A day with Mr. Bennet

I have had the honor of being invited to spend a day with Mr. Bennet and shoot on his manor. It should be a blast. So generous the Bennets are. It makes me fall in love with Jane more and more to know she comes from a nice family. Mrs. Bennet was correct in that I promised them a visit, but never followed through. I feel ashamed of breaking this promise and I shall make it up to the Bennets indeed.

  1. Hello Mr. Bingley,
I'm glad that my father has invited you out for a shooting. I think he really likes you, as he looks forward to it as well. Also, it flatters me that you think so kindly of my family. No one has ever given me the compliment, and it makes me happy that you're the first, and the only one, who has ever said it. I look forward to seeing you again!

  2. I only wish that I have the same happiness you do. Imagine what fun we would have if I was engaged to Elizabeth. Instead, I fear going to Longbourn because she never talks to me. If only she had accepted my proposal!
